Charitas provides a variety of community-based programmes, which strive to support and empower. The organization seeks to help target groups meet their own needs by facilitating the processes associated with acquiring appropriate resources, as well as implementing and institutionalising beneficial social networks at grassroots level.
Tomorrow’s Heroes
Envisioning a vibrant group inspired to serve in their community and beyond, this project empowers today’s youth on their journey to becoming tomorrow’s heroes. Practically, this means getting to know the community and their needs through regular contact and introducing the learners to a variety of education and career opportunities.
Charitas Care
Recognizing the difficulties poverty introduces to accessing basic services and opportunities, this project supports the community in meeting their own basic needs. Practically, this means assisting individuals with accessing services, creating opportunities for personal development, and actively promoting overall physical and mental wellbeing.
