Skooltassie Launched
Charitas is proud to announce the successful launch of its Skooltassie Project for 2025.
What is it?
Skooltassie is an ongoing project that aims to encourage and support vulnerable learners on their educational journey throughout the course of an academic year. Practically, this is done with the provision of school transport, stationary, uniforms, and other essential items needed to get to AND STAY in school.
How does it work?
We are beyond excited to introduce the following fabulous partners who have already committed their support to helping us achieve the project’s aims this year:
Pragma - Continued support in funding safe and reliable school transport
Queen Margeret School for Girls - Collaborative endeavor encompassing both a cultural exchange program and fundraising initiative to help meet various education-related needs of a select group of high school girls
Euromonitor International - Donating 60 pairs of school shoes to get those feet to school in style
GKBO - Collecting and distributing 60 stationary boxes to needy learners prior to the schools opening in January
